about
Two cultures, one professional voice.
Born and raised in Argentina, educated in Australia. I bring to translation a rare combination of native Latin American Spanish, near-native Australian English, and deep cultural literacy on both sides of the Pacific.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Communications from the University of Technology Sydney and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Communications & Cultural Studies from the University of Wollongong. I am currently completing a nationally accredited Argentine qualification as a Literary and Scientific-Technical Translator at the Instituto Superior Lenguas Vivas.
Before turning fully to translation, I spent more than a decade as a regulatory officer with Argentina’s national communications authorities (ENACOM and AFSCA), worked as a higher-education lecturer in politics, communication and research methodology, and co-produced a weekly political affairs radio programme. My early career also included consulting on rural-development projects funded by the Inter-American Development Bank.
That background means I don’t just translate words. I translate context: regulatory frameworks, academic registers, audiovisual rhythm, and the cultural assumptions that hide between languages.
